Raising Healthy Eaters: A Parental Primer
Feeling bewildered about how to foster healthy eating habits in your family? Developing healthy eating behaviors is one of the most important skills we can teach our children, yet many parents feel frustrated when their best efforts at creating healthy eating patterns fail, meal after meal.
This 1-hour nutrition program will empower you with 10 specific parenting practices to engage kids in the process of eating well. It’s designed for parents, grandparents and caretakers of all kinds, providing practical guidance and realistic strategies to build a foundation for a lifetime of healthy eating.
Join Stephanie Meyers, a Registered Dietitian and Licensed Nutritionist (and mom!) with over 22 years of experience teaching practical ways to cultivate healthy eating.
Workshop information:
Stephanie offers a variety of small group nutrition classes in and around the greater Boston area. Classes are typically 90-minutes in length and cost $50 per participant (course materials included).
Nutrition Classes are one-time meetings with a limited enrollment of 12 participants in order to provide maximum opportunity to individualize the session to meet your needs. Join Stephanie for a dynamic group session and walk away empowered with a practical plan!
Please note, children are NOT permitted to attend nutrition classes. This assures everyone in the room can participate fully with minimal distractions. The only exception is for postpartum nutrition classes where newborn babies up to six months old may attend. Siblings of babies attending postpartum nutrition workshops are not permitted to attend. See a class you’d like to attend from the comfort of your own living room? With six other friends interested in the same topic and Stephanie can provide a private “Home Host” session. These classes meet in someone’s private home, work place, or community gathering space. The host is responsible for arranging a location and providing list of attendees in advance. The person organizing any Home Host Nutrition Program receives FREE registration for the class (One host designee per class). To arrange a home host nutrition class email Stephanie.
